'05 F250 Ordered
Hi Guys!
This is my first effort at posting a thread, please be patient. Thought I'd pass the word I ordered a new F250 XLT this past Thursday. I decided to wait for the new model because of the towing upgrade and available options. I work at FoMoCo R&E and saw the new model first hand at the Design Center. This truck is going to turn some heads with it's new front end styling.
My wife and I go camping and we pull a 27 foot TT that goes for about 8000# fully loaded. This rig ought to do just fine.
Model and options:
2005 XLT Dark Toreador Red with Tan interior (Bucket seats with console)
5.4 3V
5 Speed TorqShift trans
TowCommand option-(Towing mirrors and electric brake control built in dash)
LT265/70RE 17" OWL tires
Chrome tubular sstep bars
and a few more goodies.
I cant wait... delivery should be in 8-10 weeks.

I can't wait either. I ordered mine 1 month ago. I pull a 31' tt. I have been assigned a vin#, but no build date as of yet.
Mine:
350 LB 4X4 Lariat Dark Stone Metallic w/ Arizona Beige Accent 6.0 diesel/auto
Camper Pkg FX-4 buckets Tow Command and every other Option except moon roof and rear sensing. I work for ForMoCo and have seen and heard a lot of good.
