f-150 5.0 engine problems

this is the problem. the trucks starts and runs fine when cold. after it is warmed up, and u shut it off for like 10 minutes. it doesnt want to start back up. it rolls over, but u need to have your foot to the floor to start it. it cuts out. u put it in gear and it dies. ived changed all the sensors, and am lost. no one seems to know whats wrong. the thing is when ya get it going it stays running good untill ya shut it off. im confused, thanks so much for any help,

Have you tried pulling codes from the computer? That would be the place to start - if there are codes, that will help you narrow down the problem. I would also check the timing. If it is too advanced or too retarded, then you will have trouble starting.

Sounds like heat soak on an ignition component. Maybe a TFI module or ignition coil going out.
