Gas Gauge?

My gas gauge on my 94 ranger just stopped working. I checked fuses nothing. Going to get under it today and see if it's connected. Other than that what can I check.

You should pick up a Haynes manual.
Take the electrical connector off the sender unit in the tank. With the key on, the guage should swing past the full mark. Use a test light to determine which terminal on that connector has battery power. Next, use a jumper wire to ground the other terminal on the connector. The guage should swing past the empty mark. If both these tests go as described, then the guage works and the problem is in the sender.
