Question Code 22

Hey all,
I have an 87 F150 4x2 302 EFI and have been having the same idle problem that I have seen alot of posts about - does not idle in park (just revs up and down three times (exactly three times every time) and then evens out, or when the revs drop too far it just stalls. In drive it runs just fine though, no problems coming to stops or anything!
I have been taking advice found in other posts, starting with pulling the codes. I got back a code 22 - which I looked up and found to be MAP sesor out of range. So I went down to the local Canadian Tire and spent $100 (cdn) on a new one. I installed it - did a computer reset, then sat back admired my work! It ran like it should for one day and then went back to stalling when going from drive to park. I pulled the codes again and I still get 22.
My Question: Can I get a code 22 if the MAP sensor is still good, but maybe the vacume pressure is off? I tapped one of those vacume splitters with a pressure gauge and I am getting about 20 when I first turn on the truck and let it idle in park. The sensor I bought is brand new so I am assuming it works - if the problem lies elsewhere that would be great because I could take the sensor back, 100 bucks buys alot of beer! Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks!

Check the wiring between the sensor and the computer to see if there are any shorts or breaks in the wire. It could be a corroded connection at the sensor itself and made good contact when you disconnected and reconnected it, but then went back to the same old after a day or two. MAP sensors don't usually fail.
