Sounds like a vacuum leak some were, or check all your lifters?? go a long and press on the pushrod side of your rockers to make sure no lifters are leaking down??

it sounded like something was hitting tin? like the pushrods were hitting the valvecovers !!!!! not a pleasent sound!

no that an't , When I installed my cam the first time Ihad to long a pushrods and it burned up my cam, but learned from know I have the correct lenght. hope that is all that it is good luck with it. believe me when you build ahotrod it is a never ending project!!!!!!!

i know !!!!! i'm going to pull the oil pan off and hopeing it isn't my lower end. i just put 700.00 in eagle h-beam rods ! i think i might cry if it is!! i'm hopeing for the best !
