auto hub, differential or transfer case?

auto hub, differential or transfer case?
My 94 explorer is not getting into 4wd. the lights come on but no 4wd. I am gettting a funny grinding bearing noise out of my hub. i lifted it and pushed the button. the axles were turning and the noise was heard from the hubs. then the right axles stopped turning and/or turned at a slower rate than the left. then the drive shaft stopped turning and the transfer case was makeing a noise. crazyy!!
