Engine temp. guage not working
Just put a 2002 psd engine in my 99. runs great no problems except that the temp gauge isn't working. I put a new coolant temp. sensor in but still not working. any thoughts. is it that my 99 computer can't read 02 sensor. THanks for the help.

if you have a multimeter first check and see if the sensor is puting out any voltage, if it is than you would want to check continuity between the wire that attaches to the sensor and the wire that attaches to the gauge, if it is wired that way and i am not sure about that. it may be wired to the pcm and than the pcm sends the signal to the gauge, if that is the case than it would not show any continuity...maybe someone with more electronics knowledge will chime in
