The 2brl was the only thing you could get from Ford on a 351m or 400. And you could get either a 351m or 400, I believe the 351m was standard

Hello, welcome to FTE!

Try the Canadian forums for parts. Look a ways down on the list of forums here.

the only carb available for the 351M/400 engine was a 2v.

To get a 4v you need to go aftermarket.

Bed ?

How far will you drive from Humboldt for one?

The 400 was available in F150s through the 1979 model year. Beginning in the 1980 model year, the 400 was certified only as a HD engine, available only in vehicles with over 8500 lbs GVW (F250HD and F350 only).

Edelbrock and Weiand have 4bbl manifolds for the 351M and 400. Holley and Edelbrock have the carbs.

Good bet would be Edelbrock manifold and Holley 'Street Avenger' carb in 570, 670 or 770cfm.
