Oil Pressure?????
I have a 93 F150 with the 302. The other day the water pump went out and got a little hot, but the temp didnt get into the red. Since then the oil pressure guage is on the N on normal, when it used to be on the R. Some times when driving the guage will pop up to the R in a split second then go back to N, and bounce between. It jumps it dosent move slow. I changed the oil and filter with no luck. A month or two ago I changed the oil sending unit cause it was leaking. Does this sound like it has gone out again. Or is it something else? Thanks for all your help.

Ive had that problem with a my 90 F-150. I bought a long block and new oil pump and even after that it still does that. I wouldnt worry about it too much, its very common in fords. You have to replace the actual guage in the dash as quicklook2 said. As long as the motor doesnt chatter your ok
