K&N Filter here

Just got an email from K&N that says they now have an air filter for the 5.4, here is the part number: 33-2287. Not sure who has it for sale yet though, will be looking in the morning.

That filter is great and all but I really want the cold air intake.

Yesterday afternoon.....I ordered the new K & N air filter, P/N 33-2287 from www.n2performance.com/custom for $32.49 + 5.95 shipping.....for a total of $38.44.....which I "think" is lower than Ford's price for the standard Motorcraft air filter element for this truck?!?!

N2Performance also has a toll free # which is 800-882-7223.

I just installed the new K & N replacement filter for my 150. I ordered it last Sunday. Fits pretty slick. Will see what happens now.

There was another site that had them with free shipping. I priced the filter and recharge kit, and it was $41 and some change including shipping. Can't remember the site, but I'll look for it when i get home.

Took my truck out for a test drive. I have had my truck reprogrammed and with the addition of the K & N, I have no throttle lag. Will check the mileage tomorrow.

Has K&N released the cold air intake kit for the new F150 5.4L. yet? I believe the filter element itself has been available for a few months now but I have not heard about the kit. Thanks !!

Here's the link to the other place that had them with free shipping. The page says $35.74, but if you add it to your cart, it comes up $32.49, including free shipping. Total for the filter and the service kit, shipped was $41.17

Part# E-0945 fits the 2004 4.6L New Body Style or the Heritage Model with 4.6 or 5.4L engine.

Part# 33-2287 fits the 2004 5.4L New Body 3v engine.

The filters have been out for a few months now. I think they just put out the Intake kit for the 2003 recently so it may be awhile before we see one for the 2004. Unfortunately for them many of us will have put in another brand by then. If you have a 2004 Heritage I would imagine the FIPK (#57-2541) for the 2003 F150 would fit since they are the exact same truck.
