EGT's

Just installed my pyro today and took it out for a test and saw the EGT's change so fast and drasticly that I would like to know if this is normal. Under excelleration no load would go from 400 to 1200 in about 5-10 sec. When backing out would drop as fast. Running 60hp Preditor. No exh upgrade on intake.

If you are running the preditor it will cause the egt's to climb in a hurry. Best if you can get it breathing better by larger exhaust and more air in. Looks to me like you are about "normal" for the equipment you describe.

Remember, even though the temps drop quickly you still have a severe bottleneck with the stock exhaust and it'll likely take much longer for the turbo to cool down. (jmho)
