First I woulkd like to say I am new to the fourm and already love it. I am usally on mustang fourms but now since I bought an '87 F-250 I have been looking around here for info. My question is I think '03 F-250 wheels will work on My '87 F-250...I am almost positive they are the same 8 lug bolt patternt but I was wonder about the backspacing since the front ends are differnt (Twin I beam- IFS) But just wanted to make sure sure before I buy '03 wheels...Thanks for the help...Dale...if '03 wheels will not work what other 8 lug 16" wheels work on the '87......Thanks
Now, unless someone changed your bolt pattern, it will not work. The new wheels (99 and on) have a differnet bolt spacing. Both had 8 lugs but the spacing on the newer is 170mm and yours is 6.5".
There used to be a seller on ebay that would modify the new ones by redrilling the holes to fit the older ones. Anyway, hope this helps
