Airbag removal
Looking for any tips/info you all can provide in regards to removing the air bag from the steering wheel. My Dad has purchased the Ford factory cruise control for his 2001 and it has the controls in the steering wheel.
Any info or precautions to take when performing the removal or installing the cruise.

2001 what? this is for '01 F150.
1. disconnect battery ground cable. (be sure to disconnect auziliary batteries and power supplies if equipped).
2. wait at least 1(one) minute to allow backup power supply to deplete energy.(I wait 5 to be sure)
3. remove unit from steering wheel
