Can anyone tell me the last year Ford made the F100? Also, what size engines were available. Thanks.

It was after 1980. I want to say 82 or 84. Try the 1980-1986 forum. I think they can probably tell you there.

All,
Wait aminute?
I thought they did away with the full-size F100 in 1976.?
Something about emmissions? Was it still called a F100 after that?
Anyone?....... Anyone?........,
KingFisher

F-100s continued pass 1976. They were light duty, 2wd trucks. Ford introduced the F-150 in order to beat the emission *****. I know that the F-100 was available in 1979. After that, it is to new for me to know about

To many to mention.

The F-100 went into the 80s but it had to have more car-like emissions controls to pass the fed's requirements. Hence the intro of the F-150. In the early 80's when emissions laws became more stringent and the 150s and 100s had the same equipment, it made no sense to offer 2 half-ton trucks so the 100 was dropped.

Last year for the F100 was 1983. I have a 1982 F100. I believe that early 80's F100's where limited in what engines they had. The 3.8L engine could also be found in the early 80's F100, im sure glad I have the 300. Fred

83 was the last year, 80-83, the largest engine was the 302, base engine was the 300 in 80 and 81, with the 255 and 302 V8's being optional, 82-83, it was the 3.8 V6, with the 300 and 302 being optional

1983 was the last year... I have a late production (April 1983) F100's with a 302. One fine truck.
