Mile Marker

Anyone have any products made by this company? Have you ever had to deal with their customer service? one of the manual lockouts on my ranger wasnt working anymore. So i took it apart and found that on the back side of the **** you turn to engage the hub, there was a hexagonal hole that met up with a hexagonal stud to join the **** to the internals of the hub. The hexagonal hole was stripped out. So i went on the internet to see if i could buy some more of these somewhere, finally i went to mile marker's web site, and found nothing but new hubs, so on thursday i just emaild their customer service asking where i could buy some new ones (to submit a question, you need a name, address, phone number, email) I filled all this out correctly). Anyway, on friday, i got an email saying "Peter- Replacements are on their way". I kinda thought, well, uhh, umm.....thats awsome! But i figured there was some kind of catch. I wasnt really sure if i was going to get them or not. Anyway, today, (Tuesday) guess what came in the mail. My parts, didnt cost me a cent, not even shipping and handling. It was so quick, i barely knew what hit me. I am going to buy mile marker again. Anything i get involving hubs/winches and whatever else they make, is going to be Mile Marker. That is 100% pure golden customer service. They didnt even ask me any questions, just said replacements were on their way. They also sent me a set for both sides. What kind of luck has everyone else had with this company? Anyone had any bad things happen with mile marker?

I put a set of their hubs on my '95 F150. I haven't had any problems with them, but it's nice to know that if I ever did they are good to work with.

I had one break on my old 75, had found some at a swap meet once, found out that the ones that fit Fords also fit Chevy's too. The ones I got came from a 3/4 chev. I never tried them for the parts as I figured be like everyone else and charge after all the years of service they had already given, as they were severely pitted from prior users.
