I'm not familiar with the area you are talking about but standard striping is just taped off and painted with your choice of color.

Are you talking about the stripe that sits in the recessed area under the body line. This is vinyl pinstriping from the factory. If you want it painted on you would just have to tape it off around the area the stripe would be,sand,spray one of the colors in basecoat, after enough dry time, tape off the portion that will stay that color, spray the second color, then remove the tape that you just put on and spray the second color. Then clear the stripe. They make a tape called fine line tape availabe in different widths that is good if you need to tape off a narrow line, and it goes around corners well. They use it for masking off the pattern of flames when they put a flame job on a vehicle.
