I lost
So back in Jan-04 I purchased a C-6 Transmission from http://www.transmissioncenter.net/highperflist.htm What I got and what they advertised as not what I ordered. I disputed it with the credit card company, had a knowledgable transmission guy inspect the c-6 and he even wrote a letter. We documented everyhting including pictures of what parts I did not get per there advertisement. I mean its was black and white different, anybody could see I did not get what I ordered. This dispute went on until today and I lost. Head Visa Headquarters voted in there favor. The case is damaged from previous use, and is no good. They told me on the phone that c-6 trans are 30 years old and damage is expected, and they did not replace everything inside with new parts, they said if it looks OK we do not replace it. Funny the web site says nothing about that! So I get to pay for a C-6 that was never installed in my 71 F250, is still in the box that it was shipped in, and I have to pay for the gas to haul it to the junk yard.

For FTE to allow someone to mention the company, we'd have to have that company come in and say their side of the story...which isn't feasible...there are two sides to every story...so therefore mentioning it isn't allowed

Sorry to hear about that Ed, I've been hung out to dry by tranny guys before too. I need a new C6 too if I can't sell the beast (I don't want to, but...) and I'd probly end up taking the same steps you did. Thanks for letting everyone know.
