Hey lads...i have an '82 big Bronco and am getting geared up to swap the quarters (came with the truck!)
I have some questions as i am a newbie at body work.
It looks like the fronts are just bolted on so no prob...but the rears look like they have a ton of welds. How do i get them off??? Grind out the welds???
Also is the bed sectional or can i take it out as one big piece?
I am gonna Zero Rust the undercarriage and really clean out the rust before i replace the panels, so i am prepared in that sense. The other problem is i don't have a welder. I was reading that someone used epoxy rather than welding...will this work with full panels?
Any help would be great...this site rocks!
I don't know the right way to get them off. I would grind them. As for the epoxy - I would mig weld with gas. One of the truck manuels might show the bed. Good luck.
