Ok when the block, heads, and head gaskets check out fine with all the proper tests and equipment, what else could cause oil with the look of milk? Meaning coolant in the oil. I recently purchased an 89 F350 Crew cab long bed with the International 7.3 IDI, and I keep coming up with coolant in the oil, and can't seem to find where it's coming from. This engine just had a full master rebuild less then 10,000 miles ago and no sign of cavitation or wear were found in the block and the heads were fully machined before they were put back. It was rebuild as a just because I can and the guy only sold it to kept his ex from getting it in the divorce. I'm at a loss for where the coolant is coming from, HELP!!!!!!
I'd take it back to the shop where it was rebuilt...probably out of warranty but the might cut you some slack on the price after they did the re-built...

Like I said the internal engine has checked out perfect, there is NO sign of a problem inside the enginge. That's why I'm asking what else could cause the coolant in the oil. The guy who did the rebuild and the man the owned the truck prior have been close friends of my family for decades, I know thier work and I trust it or I wouldn't have bough the truck.
There is an oil cooler on the left side of the block, it looks like a steel tube mounted between two aluminum ends (called headers), both water and oil run through it to cool the oil. The oil filter is screwed on to the rear header.
You could have a problem in the steel tube, one or both of the headers, or the o-rings or gaskets invloved.
Thank you. We found the oil cooler yesterday and discovered the a mechanic I had allowed to work on it a few weeks back put the gaskets on way wrong, so I'm having to replace them today. Thank you for the input though.
