I'm only getting 11.7 MPG!!!

Well, I've been pretty light on the gas as well. I try not to ever go past 2000 RPM, and when accelerating, I try not to go past 1500. A couple of times entering the freeway, I've pushed it to 3000RPM, but only for a short burst. I just filled up second tank at 325 miles. So like I said, hopefully once the engine breaks in, I'll get at least 14MPG.
Btw, how much off do you think the speedometer would be off from getting bigger wheels/tires? I went from 18" stock to 20" 275/50/20.

What was the stock size tire that came on the truck? You can check out http://www.4lo.com/ to see if any of their calculators help. Once you give us all of those dimenions, we can figure out how much you are probably off by.

Rich,
Stocks were 265-60-18, the new ones are 275-60-20. Using that site, I'm about 1.9 miles off. Thanks for the info.
So if I'm going 66.9 instead of 65, I would think my gas mileage should be better than 11.7mpg.
I was too eager to get new wheels, I should've drove the stocks for awhile to get gas mileage data.
