Power steering

Hi
I have a 93 F150 and the power steering went. It had been leeking slowly
for a couple months. I parked it a mounth ago when I got a new truck.
I went to start it yesterday because I want to drive it to Maine to use as
a work truck on the farm. The steering fluid leaked out and it will hot hold
fluid anymore.

Other than being tough to steer, would it be safe to drive it to drive to get it
to Maine? It's about 3 hours highway and 15 min side roads. I'm not sure if
anything is being dangerously stressed without the power steering working.
Everything feels tight.

Thanks

It probably would make it but remember you will not be able to make quick turns to avoid a problem. What is safe for the truck might not be safe for you. I have driven about an hour without power steering with no damage that I know of. Just hard to stear. But I went slow.
