89 BII Exhaust problem
The tail pipe on my BII is rooted and it sounds like the muffler is going. The cat has about 40K on it (total miles are 91K) Do I have to change the catalytic converter, or can I just change out the muffler and the pipes? I am probably going to have an exhaust shop do this and want to know if they will try to sell me a new cat. The cat is pretty expensive.
