It will make your engine feel really powerless!! It will rev slow, gas mileage will be bad..seems to me there was a test you can do with a vacuum gauge to determine if you have an exhaust restriction...maybe someone else will know, otherwise I'll dig out my vacuum gauge and look.

you can have some one rev it up and feel the flow out of the pipes....and if is bad you will blow a motor...i work on custom exhaust and if if is bad you need a hight flow one....and by the way where do you live that you have to run one on old truck like that ..(clai) is the only place i know where you would have to run one on an pre 74 truck.
