spare tire?

I just blew a tire on my fx4 with 18" rims and now I'm looking for a replacement spare. ford wants me to pay $180 and that's not happening. could somebody point me in the right direction? since it is just a spare does it really even matter if it's the same size? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

A buddy of mine just had a tire shop put his spare on the rim and he purchased a used tire from them the same size as the ones on his truck for $20 which he now has as a spare. Might be worth a try

Try Discount tires... I believe they are in most areas. They have trade in tires in great shape.... and will sell for 20-50 dollars...

I just traded in 2004 my Hankooks with 4000 miles on them for Michelins LTX, and the spare was new (they gave my $35 a tire towards the new Michelins).

Anyway try them or Big O... any large tire chain has plenty of low mileage trade-ins.
