If you want to go the next step you technically can squeeze a 315-70-R16 (35in) without a lift kit installed. You will have to crank the torsion bars up a little and trim a little plastic but it has been done, many times. If you turn up the bars any more then 3 turns I would recomend getting it alligned afterwards. Thats my opinon.
