New Bilsteins
Monday morning I decided to get Bilsteins. Ordered them from offroadwarehouse that afternoon. They had deal going were shipping was only $12 for the get there someday category. Friday afternoon there was the UPS guy with my shocks. $12 and they arrived withing four days. This morning a local place put them on. Driving away from the shop I didn't notice any difference. After cruising on the highway home it seemed a little bit different but still not much. Then I exited the highway and thats when the magic happened. A HUGE difference in turning. Turns where I'm usually pushing to the outside of the lane can now be done down on the inside stripe. The side to side wallowing is gone. Total cost of everything was right at $300. For an extra $20 they replaced the fuel filter since it was already on the lift. I have 55,000 miles on my expedition.
