Talking shifter rod question?

i am rebuilding a 86 ford f150 it is 4x4, 4 speed manual in the floor. the problem i am hanve is finding a replament shift rod for the transmision the one in the truck is bend very strangly and i cant see why i just need a straight shifter. I cant find one anyplace i have removed the bench seat and am replacing it with apc off road race seats and a 2003 fl5o center console. Btw all you folks looking for white gauge faces i found a place after alot of searching that will make them for you all you have to do is send you gaues tach or no tach and they will make them for $195 bucks and you dont need a group of folks to do it ether just you. send me a email and i will give you the info on that. plus i am looking to buy a rebuild 302 or pay someone to rebuild mine keep in mind the distrubutor is locked int he block due to a problem i had cahnged in the oil pump (long story but i cant get the thing out with out taking the engine apart) so any one that has one i would like toi hear about it.

If you are wanting a straight stick like the ZFs have you are probably out of luck. To my knowledge, all the 4-speeds had snake-like bent shifter sticks. Could be wrong though.

Should work fine. I`ve made extensions before out of pipe when I have put body lifts on. A machine shop should be able to make a very nice one.

Make sure you are going to have enough dash clearance when in first and third. May wind up being a knuckle buster.
