2000 explorer output speed sensor

2000 explorer output speed sensor
i'm trying to locate the output speed sensor on the transmission case. My check engine lite came on and i have no speedometer. i replaced the rear sensor but can't locate the front. can someone please help me with this.

2000 explorer output speed sensor
its not on the transmission.its in the rear differential housing.the sensor on the trans is the oss output shaft sensor.the vss is now in the differential.if you have a 4x4 there is also a shaft sensor on the t case.the shaft sensors input control trans functions not speedometer.i believe the vss circuit goes thru the abs modoule check the plugs there and on rear.
