My second gear is GONE!
Just wanted to get some ideas of problems before I tear into things. To me, it seems like an acuall tranny problem. I think if it were the clutch, all of the gears would be messed up. My guess is, I actually did lose second gear, not sure what happend to make it go though. There were no loud noises, no grinding, no crunching. Once I stopped the first time, I did not have to force it out of second. Now when driving, I don't here anything abnormal.
Any thoughs would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Action(s) to take:
§ REMOVE transmission. INSPECT problem gears, shift rails and forks and synchronizer for wear or damage. REPAIR as required. CHECK for broken fork slot tabs on single rail transmissions.
Possible Source(s):
§ Loose fork on rail.
Action(s) to take:
§ On single rail shift, CHECK for broken selector arm pin or selector plate. REPAIR or REPLACE as necessary.
