I was going to just punch the stat out, see if it ws the problem w/ the over heating, maybe the oil in the raditor was from the enj. cups or tran cooler , see all my tools are in DC at work and I live in SC, trying to avoid another tow bill i still need to rebuild the top end, but would like to drive it 30 miles than tow it. i would just put a new stat in but here is the stupid qeustion,
is there another way to get to it the damn thing out w/out removing the Serptine belt the bolts are behind the alternator and i dont want to take ther Serp. belt off and i cant seeem to get to the old one to punch it out, what to do?!?!?
