Exclamation Our New Chapter Leader

My fellow Okie Ford freaks,

It is time- indeed past time- for us to name our
Chapter Leader for the FTE Oklahoma Chapter.
There is one more decision to be made. By the
person who will be named our Leader. It will be
entirely up to him if he wants to take up this task
or not. Either way I stand in support, and I ask all
of you to do the same.

In our election I received the lead in votes, and I
thank all of you for your confidence in me. But I am
unable to do justice to this office now, and for some
time yet to come due to my present responsibilities.
I offer the Leadership of this Chapter to Stan, a.k.a.
Traxxis as well as my support as a member of our
Chapter. Whether he sees fit to have me share in
his work as "second in command" is freely his choice.
It has been an honor to serve as the Chapter Moderator
and if the new Chapter arrangements provide for the Chapter
Moderator post to continue, I shall be happy to continue to
serve. HomerWinzlow is right about leadership- it's more than
just one person- much more.

Stan- I ask that you stand forward and let us know your
decision on this matter. You have distinguished yourself
as a leader in our posts; now good sir, rise to this task
and assume your place among us as our First Chapter Leader
of the New FTE Oklahoma Chapter. Fordborn, Chapter Leader
of FTE Kansas has been apprised by me of this action, and
I think I can say with vouchsafed confidence that you have
his support and fellowship as well as that of all of FTE Kansas.
Post your reply and let us know.

We await your decision.

your fellow Okie Ford freak and friend,

Mark/White_Knight

Oklahoma and all our brethren in the state, I don’t mean to intrude upon you space nor try to meddle in your chapter. I have read the post by “White_Knight” and just wanted to reply with my own words of encouragement. Form reading the posts and watching the site it seems that “Traxxis” not only has the enthusiasm but also the drive and desire to take this chapter to bigger and better things. With him at the helm the chapter should thrive and continue to grow. Let me be the first from another chapter to welcome him to the leader’s realm and wish him luck. “Traxxis” you will always have the support and help from you neighbors to the North and I hope there will be ways we can get our groups together and enjoy some events or G2G’s. We look forward to meeting fellow members and putting faces with the names we see in the forums. Whatever the chapter or I can do to help just say the word. You appear to be a person that will do great things for Oklahoma and its members. I wish you all the best of luck in the new venture.

Thanks form your friends to the North.

Well, after thinking of this for awhile, I have decided that yes, I will gladly assume the position as leader of this forum, but under one condition. That one condition is that this is acceptable with the rest of the forum. I would like for you, Mark, to still be here for help and assistance. Thank you for the offer, and thank you for putting the trust in me. I really would like our Chapter to grow to the height that the Kansas Chapter has, but this can only happen if we ALL make it an effort to get to know everybody, so for this job, we will all need to put our heads together to get this ball rolling. I would like to see more posts in our Chapter too. I for one am guilty of spending too much time in the Ranger forum and lately, the GC forum, which is great, but I would like to see us all converse more in OUR Chapter.

So, is this what the other members of the Chapter wants?

Thank you both, Mark, and Fordborn for your confidence in me.

Stan P.

"Traxxis"

Exclamation To our new Leader

Stan,

I am honored to stand with you in this effort,
and assist you in your efforts to grow this Chapter.
In whatever capacity you see fit for me to do so, or
in whatever manner, I am at your service. I will post
a Poll to discern the intent of the Chapter, and I ask
all of those who participate here to share in this action.

Unlike before, this will be a "blind" poll- meaning that all
votes will remain anonymous as to their originators. So,
all participants in our forum, come forth and make your
decision known.

I will remain always in the service of the FTE Oklahoma
Chapter, its members and affiliates, and fellow Chapters
without reservation.

Speak now, and let us conclude this matter!

your friend,

Mark/White_Knight

Congrats Stan. I don't know aboput the paddles and dancing girls, but we will have to design a crown and cape. How about a hub cap, some striped seat covers and for your septre (SP?) we can get an antennae. (As she takes a bow before you!) I'll bring the pop if you guys can get this get-together together. LET"S DO IT!
