96 explorer transmission problems

96 explorer transmission problems
The transmission is slipping in my wife's 96 explorer again. It has been downshifting hard for a while now. I had the dealer flush the tranmission but it didn't help. It looks like I may have to replace the transmission. I have had it rebuilt twice before. I have never done transmission work before other than a filter/ fluid change. How hard would it be to replace the transmission myself if I can find a remanufactured one?
