2002 Mountaineer Keyless Entry Code
Hi! I apologize if this is a repeat e-mail, but the last few messages regarding keyless entry code locations involve explorers and I am not sure if the info applies to my car.
Where is the keyless entry code located on the 2002 Mountaineer? Where is the control module in case I need to look there?

On my 2000 Mountaineer the code is on a white label stuck to the surface of a plastic black box located in the jack compartment behind the left rear panel. The box is forward of the jack and hard to see. A flash light and a mirror was helpful in reading the code. Good Luck!
