Ok, Heres my question,
I would like to swap out the 300 I6 that is in my 1996 F-150 Xl and put in a Fuel Injected 351 form hopefuly the same year truck. I know this can be done, but what my problem is is that i cant find a complete 351 (computer, wireing harness, etc.) I say I want a complete engine cause id like to make this as little of a headache as possible. Anyone have any ideas or tell me where the best place to look for an engine like this is.

 

Find a whole truck that has been wrecked or is being sold cheap, or go to the junkyard and buy all the parts you need from the same truck. Look in the Parts & Equipment Trader or the newspaper for a whole truck or someone parting one out.

 

you need a 1996 for sure.
