Build Time?
Just wondering if anyone knows howlong it takes to build a truck? I mean from the day they start working on it until the day it rolls out the plant. I am curious how long it takes a computerized plant to build a truck.

Almost impossible to answer, because so many of the components are made in other plants and shipped to final assembly. For instance, engines are built complete in one plant, crated, and shipped to the final assembly plant; they're not built in the same plant that assembles the truck. Do you want the time it takes to build the engine included in the total time? As Mil1ion stated, most plants assemble vehicles at the rate of 50-60 vehicles per hour. From the start of assembly to finish, I believe it takes about 2 hours.
