Another thing about the cats is this...you probably won't get any more power out of running no cats. Our cats are actually pretty darned great about exhaust flow. If you are that worried about them, just gut 'em out!
I don't really know exactly, but a guy called 'openclasspro' ran some numbers on this site for me once concerning 'blockage' in the flow. It was a near 0 number. With no cats you'd be at 0.
