Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the earlier p/s diesels missing out at unregular intervals. We have two where I work('96 and '94), and they both miss out once in while. The 94 will completely die sometimes before restarting. The oil has been changed every 3000 with Conoco CD/CE grade oil. The fuel filters have been changed several times and do not help much. Other than the miss, they run fine and have plenty of power.

My 1995 cc dlly was doing the same thing.
About 2 months ago I took it to the ford dealer and they replaced the camshaft positioning sensor which they said was covered by the 5 yr.warranty ,though i had to pay the 100$ deductible.A month ago i recieved
a check for 100$ from the ford dealer saying the repair was covered under the emisions warranty
which has no deductable.
