Lubricating Chassis

Lubricating Chassis
I have been experiencing a annoying sqeek in my suspension when my truck hits a bump or even when I just get in or out of the truck. I saw that lubricating the chassis is listed under regular maitainance. Would this fix this problem or do i need to so something else? also, how would i "lubricate the chassis"? Thanks.

That may help unless it's some bushing that doesn't have a grease fitting. I am just rolling up on 13K on my Ranger and took a quick peak underneath to see just how many fittings I should plan on greasing during my next oil change.......... it was just a glance but I saw VERY few so I'm assuming most all of the chassis is made up of sealed components. I need to take a better look though.

I had a squeek in the left rear spring took it to the dealer (while under warenty) and was told they didn't know what to do about it!!!!!!!! So when I got home I jacked up the left rear and put a teflon wedge in the spring and duct taped it there, no squeeks since.

Yeah thats where it squeaks on mine too. I just shoot some WD-40 on the leafs and really good around the end bushings. It lasts for about a month or so. There are VERY FEW grease zerks on my ranger. Ford doesnt make any money if their trucks last forever.
