What is the easiest way to add fluid back into my 97 F150 transfer case? Use a Suction Gun or do they make a small pump to pump from the bottles? I was going to change to Mobil 1 ATF.
I use a sta-lube pump that is designed for the gallon sized gear lube jug, works fine just cant screw the pump down on to the bottle like you can on the jug
I have a hand pump I bought for changing the lower unit lube in my outboard. Works OK, but it's slow.
A long time ago, I made a filling device using a few pieces of rubber hose and a small 12v air compressor. I drilled a 3/8" hole in the cap of the lube bottle and ran a hose from the bottle to the t-case. Then drilled a small hole and inserted a valve stem or piece of metal fuel line. Pumped air into the bottle and it forced the lube out the other hose.
