Fuel Gauge Quantity Problem
Fuel gauge indicator reads half tank, but fuel tank is full. I just refueled yeaterday and the fuel gauge read 1/8 tank. After refueling the indicator read 1/8 for about 10 minutes then it moved to 1/2 tank. Any answers to this problem?

This topic has been covered several times, so you might want to search the forum for suggestions. One of the biggest things I've seen is that some people leave their keys in the ignition when fueling; ie listening to the radio when refueling. There have been some suggestions in other threads on how to correct the problem, but I can't remember off the top of my head what those suggestions were. Fortunately, I haven't had this problem yet (knock on wood).

It maybe the fuel your buying.
I read in the news a few weeks ago that Shell closed several service stations because of a high sulfur content in their fuel. The story goes on to say that the high level of sulfur will corrode the silver contact points on the sending unit inside the fuel tank and give false readings.
