Cool Vibration Problems

I own a 2004 Ford F250 Crew Cab Lariat with 6.0 Diesel & a 5 speed automatic transmission. The truck was purchased in the latter part of Aug 2003 and presently has 8500 miles.

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I am experiencing an annoying vibration occurring between 2030 to 2100 RPM (becoming progressively worse with age). The steering wheel shakes and the engine appears to be bucking and or miss firing. Additionally, if I place the vehicle in park and rev the engine to the aforementioned RPM the engine runs erratic / miss firing (change the RPM by plus or minus 100 RPM and the symptoms alleviate).

<o></o>

I have been back to the dealer 3 times to cure the problem. The dealer has re-flashed the computer twice with no avail. It has been suggested that I may have a defective injector. Can anybody offer any needed advise?

<o></o>

Thank You

Sounds like you need to find a new dealer first. With that kind of behavior a bad injector comes to mind or chafed harness. A good diesel tech should be able to take care of it. Flashed it twice? Find another diesel tech.
