Quick question, I think it's pretty well stated that a tuner only helps the hp when you use premium fuel. Would it increase the mpg if you are still using 87 octane?
One more, I have a 2000 sc 4x4 off road. What sort of things are recommended to look for in a tuner?
1. Increase throttle sensitivity. This makes it seem more responsive, but really just makes the peddle more sensitive.
2. Firm up shifts and change shift points.
3. Slight HP gain at WOT.
