98 Expy Rear a/c unit blower
Need help please. Have a 98 Expy with the rear air. Has 3 control panels. I know that the a/c switch on the dash has to be on air or max air for the system to work. My question is when I turn on the blower on the middle panel I get air blowing out the mid and rear vents but when I turn up the blower on the rear panel I get nothing. Is there a vacuum motor that controls air distrubition and temperature for the rear controls. I don't want to tear into this without some idea where to look. Any help please!!!!

If you set the setting on the "middle" control panel to "Rear", control of the rear vents is passed to the rear panel. Otherwise, the "middle" panel controls the fan & temp settings for the rear vents. Very handy when you have little kids back there that are not old enough to control the buttons yet
