Fuelling Question
Once again - 86 F-150 4x4, 302 EFI/AOD, dual tanks.
Where is the external tank fuel pump and the tank selector solenoid mounted? I'm having some fuelling problems and I want to check/replace these pieces. And, of course, the Chilton's manual is zero help.

I beleive the tank selector solenoid is on the inner frame, on the driver's side ahead of the wheels. Not sure about the external tank fuel pump though since I have a carb on mine. Once you get underneith you truck to look at solenoid, follow your fuel line up to the motor. You'll also have fuel pumps in each tank with the efi, I believe. Maybe the only fuel pumps are in the tanks, I'm not sure?
