Automatic or manual

O.K. Here's a good one. We were riding with my sister in law on a tollway and I came up to the toll booth. I have a 04 PSD with the 6 speed manual tranny. I went to pull into the automatic toll lane because I had the exact change. My sister in law starts to question me wanting to know why I wasn't using the manual lane. I said because had the exact change and the automatic lanes are quicker. She started to get defensive and said....are you ready. " You can't use the automatic lanes when you have a manual shift car!" I about caused a pile up because I lost it! I can't believe how nieve some people can be. After I quit laughing I finally helped her understand the differnce between the 2 types of tollbooth lanes. Geez, there going to have to give more in depth drivers ed.

That is great..........too funny.

Like the person with the stalled car, wanted a push to get it started.
Good guy stops and offers, person said we must get going 25MPH before it will start.
Closes door and waits and waits, looks in review mirror, and here “the good samaritan ”….comes....doing 25MPH.

very funny

Bushwacker must have had my sister in the car with him. She is good for a line like that at least once a week. ex. Driving past JFK international she asks my father what the big tanks are in the field on the airport grounds. He tells her that those are fuel tanks for the aircraft fuel. She says" No way, how can they pull the planes up to the tanks to fill them". Dad almost drove off the road. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Too funny !!!!

My lovely wife is a blond and as SMART as she is (which she is),
she does put the brain in neutral sometimes too ---
she knows my howling laughter is out of love and
she usually cracks up too when she realizes - "Oh No, I did it again"...

Like you, I've had to pull to the side of the road a couple of times we were both crying laughing so hard

HAHAHA!!!! Question is .... does she always have exact change for the tollbooth or does she (a) have one of those transponder thingies that she just drives right through or (b) she puts a dollar bill in the basket then gets upset because no change comes out.
