Hobbies

Hi - as a person with many hobbies - most of which involve collecting things - I just thought I'd ask if anyone has a hobby besides their truck.
Me - I like snowmobile stuff - MAINLY SKI-DOO - everything from pins to hats, to suits, to magazines to toys, the list goes on - the older it is, the better I think - I'd love to get a hold of a 1959 - 1962 Tin Cab Ski-doo. I buy just about every piece of sled stuff I can find - I even have people give me stuff - my fiancee thinks I collect too much somedays, and she may be right - our living space is getting kinda crowded!
I hope this gets this thread rolling...and I hope people like it.

Hobbies eh,
Well, I'm a car geek by nature, so I love reading Hot Rod and Car Craft and things like that. I love driving Daddy's Ranger (skinning the tires and such) and going to the strips in Grand Bend and Sparta. I'm currently looking for a good ol' Ford of my own, preferably an F-100 from 1964 to a 1979 and any engine but it must be a stick shift...for the sake of fun.

Quadiquizm,
I may be able to live with a slushbox in a truck, could you tell me more about your '79? Unfortunatly my budget is very very limited with school and all, but I can see what I cant pull together. I originally intended on getting a beater to work on and make it my own, but I can live with someone else's baby too.

hifiwasabi -
For the most part, everything you need to know is in my gallery. The photo's aren't up to date as I have been driving it year round since 1999 (except winter 1999-2000) and it has developed a few 'problem' spots, but nothing too serious I don't think.
Here is the link to my Gallery:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...95&albumid=732
I will be working on a detailed description of the truck with up to date information and trying to come up with a fair price (I know what I have invested in it, but I know I won't get it out of it).
I will be posting it in the classifieds when I get it all together as we are not supposed post ads in the forums. I will notify you once I have posted it.
Cheers,
Alex

Alex,
That truck of yours is a total hot rod, I love the colour and the fact that its as plain as it gets. I'd be able to live with an automatic, but I think I'd have to get rid of that 2.75 ring in the rear end if I were to buy it. If the price is right, and if I could get to where you are to have a look, then I'll be first in line.

Hi Sean! Yeah - it is a pretty sweet ride alright. Little 302 with the bullet proof C-6 transmission!

Hi Chad! I forgot yours was a twin to mine!

Will let you folks know soon. Feel free to contact me directly. You can have a look anytime you want.

Cheers,
