2 1/2 month mark - comments

Well, it's been 2 1/2 month since I picked up my brand new 2004 F150 FX4. It is dark shadow gray and light gray lether interior.

I love it.

Two weeks ago, I went up to a camping place to meet some friend and had a chance to try the four wheel drive... I had to put it in four wheel to go down the hill to the camp ground. It had rained/snowed for a full day by then and things were nice and muddy. I then drove it back to the main road to clock traffic as a friend of mine came out with a quad in his box. Made it up the hill no problem and back down. Could not get it our of the ruts though so.. well.. it did come out but it was quite dirty... I love it.

I would opt for the Good Year if you intend to go off road.

I have no issues with the truck... Feel solid. Fun to drive. Feels solid and does not bounce around like my 1990 Chevy did.

One thing... I can hear the two doors bang together on my side when I drive over a rough railway crossing or lots of holes in a gravel road in a row.

I will have that checked at the 5000km mark. I now have 3500km.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy my supercab....
