better mileage with extra tranny
hello
i have a 86 f250 with a 300/6with a t19 trans and 3.55 gears in town it gets 10 in town highway12-13 i want to put in a three speed brownie /under /direct/.73 overdrive.the brownie will only cost me 400.00.lots cheaper than a gold plated gv add.on .will i get any better mileage.i also do a lot of heavy towing and 300/6 motors where i live are very exspensive around 4500.00 if they can be found.
