Core Support Question

Is the core support from a '67-'72 the same as '73-'79? I need to replace the one in my '68 and the newer ones are easier to find and they look pretty darned similar.

I've heard of people switching over to the newer stuff, I know the inner fenders will work with some slight adjustment...so I don't know why you could not use the core support?? Heck, do both and use the aluminized inners...no more rust!

Thanks for the reply! I would change 'em both, but my inners are in really good shape. It's definitely worth considering. I was more concerned about the core support - would it fit?

Those inners keep the water and salt etc from splashing on and rusting out the cab mounts.
