I suspect that a relay got welded buy the ground problem. Does anyone know if there is a relay tha turns the indicator on,and if so where it's located? thanks PHIL It's on a 90 F350

Also you may have a bad ground on the headlights, this will cause a feed back and make the light stay on all the time, try this, find the ground wire that goes to the head lights and using about a 12 guage wire, ground the circuit directly to the battery ground, if this makes the light go out, you need to find the ground conection and secure it.
Oh and one more item, there is no relay for the high beam.
